This video demonstrates a tutorial on how you can volumize your hair using flat iron. It is very easy and quick to straighten your hair; it will take only an additional 2 minutes or so.
First thing to do before adding any heat to your hair is a heat protectant which is under $3. Spray this into the hair; concentrate the spray on inner part of the hair. Take a comb and comb the hair so that all the heat protectant is distributed. Turn on the iron. While the iron is heating up section the hair into three layers. First take a little hair from the top and clip that back using a hair band. Now pull up a middle section and clip this also to back. Now we are left with the bottom section of the hair. Grab the iron and take a section of hair. Clip the iron as close as possible to the hair. Bring it straight up about 3 inches and have to bring the remaining hair down like in a C- shape. Go for another section do the same process. Drop the hair only after about 3 seconds. If we want a more dramatic effect just do the same process to the same section again. Once you have completed with the bottom section we go for the second layer and just repeat the process. Once you complete the second layer, go for the last layer of hair. Place the hair in the position that we want and keep on straightening the hair. Reason of doing this in C- shape is that you can get volume throughout the hair instead of just in the roots.
As we have finished with iron, take some volumizing muse in one of your hand, just rub both of your hands and just play with your hair focusing on the root. Bring it down. Just use any hair spray and split it all over the hair to complete the process.
